A collection inspired by Bharatanatyam that captures the essence of the dance form's grace, beauty, and spirituality, blending traditional and contemporary design elements to create the perfect fusion. taking cues from the draped sari worn in Bharatanatyam, the designs in this collection feature symmetrical hemlines, intricate pleating elements, and elegant silhouettes.
From the collection, I decided to stitch the 8th look using laser-engraved denim whilst creating my own print inspired by Carnatic music.
